PATTERN PLACEMENT USING ARTIFICIAL VISION

IVS – LEATHER CUTTING

Innovative, efficient in real production conditions.

IVS is the integrated system that allows the reading of the quality characteristics of leather, adjusting the automatic nesting of the pieces.

High technology for handling and cutting leather, whether small dimensions for shoes and bags or larger dimensions for the furniture industry, the vehicle industry or shipbuilding.

IVS (Image Visual Solution) is the system for quickly reading cattle hides and placing patterns on them.

Cutting is done by connecting to a single-layer automatic cutter.

The projector projects onto the leather surface the pieces of the pattern that are digitally placed. The operator moves each piece on the surface of the leather and once the nesting is complete the cutting begins. Information on the progress of the cutting process is provided on the screen.

The IVS system is the integrated system that allows the artificial vision on the leather, with the consequent recognition of the quality and defect zones and the automatic nesting of the pieces.

This system is able to project and nest the pieces of the pattern on the skin in an extremely fast and precise way, optimizing the material as much as possible. It is therefore possible to adopt a lean production as well as take advantage of a 24/7 production cycle. IVS is a system that allows the storage in DB of leather projections off-line.

Off-line artificial vision allows to identify, classify and code an infinite number of leather pieces, which will be cut afterwards.

The LCKS cutting work line includes the whole process of leather inspection – scanning – positioning – cutting and collecting. Its continuous and comprehensive operation platform eliminates all traditional manual operations. Fully digital and smart operation maximizes cutting performance.

Automatic Nesting on Leather

LCKS1

The LCKS1 is equipped with a camera, special felt, computer and nesting software for the complete process of positioning of patterns, scanning, placing, cutting and receiving the parts.

LCKX2

The LCKX2 has a dual carriage platform with dual heads. The shape and defects of the skin are identified by photographing from above with special cameras.

Alternate cutting mode maximizes productivity.

LCKS3

The LCKS3 system consists of three sections: the feeding, scanning and cutting areas. Its feature is that it simultaneously performs laying, contour scanning, skin section identification, placement and cutting. The leather material goes through the machine automatically and the production result is maximum.
